Nursing Home Patient Management with MediTouch

12 Key Signs It's Time to Switch EHRs - Infographic

How to Manage Nursing Home Patients with MediTouch

If your medical group services nursing homes and other types of long term care facilities, you may find your current EHR is not designed for your unique workflows. Long term care should not mean longer workdays; with MediTouch, you will shorten the time you spend charting and managing nursing home patients.

Mobile Charting

Dual Mode Scheduling

-Here’s How it Works

The user can choose what location or facility they are visiting or managing.

After logging in, the user is displayed. A user can be a provider or their staff.

If a non-provider user is working on encounters they can switch providers on the fly. The calendar resource is the provider who was responsible for creating the encounter note.

Sometimes nursing home staff present a new patient at the time the provider is visiting the facility. An “easy registration” interface for providers on-the-go is offered.

When working at the facility the provider simply finds the patient they are caring for on the patient roster list and clicks on the SOAP button to document the encounter. Encounters with a date are completed.

Open encounters that have partial notes display the last SOAP element accessed by the provider. Every encounter is tracked and if there is no date, the encounter has not been completed.

The user can toggle between a time-based (standard) calender and a patient roster. The roster is displayed and it is comprised of all the patients associated with the location.

Convenient search function will find any patient based on name and date of birth.
